Nordiska ministerrådet utarbetade under våren 2012 i samarbete med Oxford Research en omfattande webenkät bland tidigare och nuvarande Nordic Master-studerande. Enkätens resultat presenteras i publikationen "Studentersurvey af Nordic Master programme 2012". Rapporten finns även på engelska. Som ett komplement till webenkäten utfördes även intervjuer med utvalda studerande. En sammanfattning på intervjuerna och relevanta slutsatser presenteras i rapporten "Interviews with students on the Nordic Master Programme".

Nordens unge ser pornografi. Hvordan bruger unge pornografien ideres hverdagsliv? Indvirker pornografien på de unges kønsforståelser? Forskningsprojektet Unge, køn og pornografi i Norden (20042006)har undersøgt pornografiens udbredelse og nye kulturelle status. Projektet omfatter i alt 9 studier omkring unges holdninger til og erfaringer med pornografi. Undersøgelserne omfatter kvalitative interviews med unge, indholdsanalyser af ungdomsmedier og kvantitative data om forbrugsmønstre og holdninger til pornografi. Projektet er gennemført af Nordisk institut for kvinde- og kønsforskning (NIKK) på initiativ af Nordisk Ministerråd. Centrale kønsforskere fra hele Norden har bidraget til undersøgelserne, som dækker alle de nordiske lande. I denne bog præsenteres forskningsrapporter fra projektets mediestudier. Blandt temaerne som belyses er unges eksponering for seksualiserede medieprodukter, og det aftryk dette sætter på de måder unge iscenesætter deres krop gennem selvrepræsentationer på Internettet. Forholdet mellem tv-stationers programpolitik i forhold til børn og unge og seksualiseret/pornoficeret medieindhold og de faktiske tv-transmissioner, er et andet af bogens temaer. Studierne som refereres er gennemført i Sverige, Norge og Finland.

Litteratur kan sige hvad som helst. Om alt muligt. Men vi lAeser ikke kun litteratur med en bog i handen. I dag er bogstaverne vandret ud af de trykte boger og over i andre medier. Det Aendrer litteraturens muligheder og gor den bevidst om sig selv som mediebaret. Det stiller ogsa krav til lAeserne, der skal finde vej mellem skAerme, computerspil, lydboger, apps, oplAesninger og musik. I Litteratur mellem medier tager 19 forskere det alvorligt, at litteratur placerer sig mellem medier - mellem skrift, lyd og billede. De bringer moderne medieerfaringer ind i analyser af aktuelle litterAere fAenomener og introducerer til nye interdisciplinAere og mediesensitive metoder, vi kan bruge i vores egen lAesning. Undervejs forholder forfatterne sig blandt andet til romaneksperimenter, filmadaptationer, amerikanske tv-serier, forfatterportrAetter og interaktive fortAellinger - fra Pynchon til Knausgard og fra Sailor's Dream til Six Feet Under. Alt sammen med et nysgerrigt blik pa, hvad litteratur og litterAer erkendelse er, nar litteraturen ikke lAengere kun findes pa papir.
